It’s Christmas Eve and everything’s falling into place. That is, until a crisis hits: Santa’s reindeer have come down with some sort of bug.
Immediately, Santa’s elf assistant Peanut goes into “emergency mode,” trying to figure out how Santa will possibly travel around the world that night without his reindeer. Peanut talks with the North Pole doctor, sleigh mechanics, and the North Pole holiday coordinator, but nobody can come up with a plan! Peanut even begs for help from tourist burros, but they simply won’t budge! And Mrs. Claus and the rest of the elves seem too busy to help. While Peanut grows increasingly panicked about the dilemma, Santa seems maddeningly calm. In the end, the Christmas crisis is solved, but in a way no one could have predicted.
Plenty of small parts, easy costumes, and simple set pieces guarantee you won’t have a crisis with this adorable show as your next holiday production.
