Marian isn’t like the other ladies at Nottingham Castle. She has little patience for embroidery and would much prefer to be outside, honing her ace archery skills. She also has no interest in matrimony to Sir Guy of Gisbourne, one of Prince John’s all-too-eager lackeys. Once she learns that Prince John is up to no good, taxing Nottingham’s poor for a king’s ransom he has no intention of paying, she enlists minstrel Alana Dale to seek help from famed Sherwood Forest outlaw Robin Hood and his renowned Merry Men.
Marian soon discovers that the men’s reputations don’t quite meet reality. Behind Robin Hood and the Merry Men are five strong, smart, and capable women. With an archery contest luring the egotistical and overly-confident Robin Hood into a trap, it’s going to take Marian’s ingenuity (and skills with a bow and arrow), plus Alana Dale, the Merry Men, and the female outlaws to foil Prince John and his pals.
