On a dark and stormy night, the drama group at Fiddlesticks High School is performing an exciting new play, “Captain Dangerous,” and the local theatre critic has shown up to observe the final dress rehearsal. But the performance is more disaster than danger with crew members and even actors missing, misplaced props, major miscues, and complete miscommunication! This is definitely a performance to challenge that old saying, the show must go on! Your audience will be rolling in the aisles watching mistake after hilarious mistake in this play within a play as they watch the action both ”onstage” and ”backstage,” just like in Noises Off! They’ll also cheer as the students miraculously find their way through to the end, but no doubt all are wondering, “If the final dress rehearsal was this bad, how are they ever going to get through opening night?!”
