Aspiring teenage writer, Steve Jenkins, decides to fight the most evil gang of mobsters in fiction. From his wild imagination comes his hero Lucky Hudson. But immediately matters get out of hand. Lucky Hudson turns real to show Steve how to defeat the 12th Street Gang. Suddenly Steve finds himself in an underworld of seedy nightclubs and city streets populated by Big Al, Ma Cribbs, Two-Gun Tommy, Larceny Jane, Hong Kong Holly and many more. All are controlled by a godfather called “The Boss.” Hold-ups, double-cross capers and jury trials flash by before Steve Jenkins finds himself on death row. When the governor reprieve doesn’t come through there’s only Lucky Hudson to save him from execution.
