The Old Folks’ Home

Senior performers will love poking fun at themselves in this cantankerous comedy set in a retirement home.  Grouchy old Peter keeps searching madly for his teeth.  Two others try to play checkers while the women do “exercises” and play Bingo.  The old ladies flirt with the old farts, are insulted, then get belligerent.  They whomp the grumps with canes and newspapers.  These old cronies can’t hear, can barely walk and can’t remember.  They all insult each other with hilarious one-liners as Granny and Larry carry on a contentious courtship.  With the crotchety chaos and elderly expressions, this simple to stage geriatric gut-buster is uproarious from start to finish.
