Who doesn’t love sprinkles? So sprinkle your Christmas holiday with these short and sweet scenes, guaranteed to leave a smile on the faces of everyone watching. In “Toymaker,” proud MIT grad Terry learns that education isn’t the most important qualification when you’re competing against an elf for a job at the North Pole. Vlogger Brittany isn’t nearly as perfect as her online persona in “Baking with Brittany.” “North Pole News” has much to report when Santa goes missing from their radar screens. There’s also a courtroom scene, an angel school, competitive present rustling, and hysterical “Dating Game” style matchmaking to help someone find their perfect Christmas tree.
Written to be presented online with all actors performing from their own homes, this play would also be ideal for socially distanced staged performances since each scene is limited to no more than six characters with no direct interaction between them. However you perform them, these seven skits, each about five minutes long, weave together to garnish your holiday festivities with absolute delight for all ages! Ideal for teen and community theatre productions, and whether presented by itself or as part of a larger Christmas program, Christmas Sprinkles is sure to add a sweet touch to this holiday season.
