Prince Willop is no Sleeping Beauty. In fact, he can’t catch a single wink! Cursed at birth never to slumber, the young prince longs to live a normal life. Instead, Willop sits. Willop reads. Willop watches out the window. And Willop daydreams of leaving the tower where King Duncan and Queen Cordelia have kept him locked up for nearly 16 years to protect him from other wicked afflictions out in the world.
Exhausted court caretaker and Willop’s only friend, Stewart the Steward, would love to finally get a good night’s rest himself, so he ventures out of the kingdom to find a way to break the curse. With the help of an uncommon commoner and a pair of manly knights who aren’t what they seem, he finds an enchantress who offers to help break the curse. Little do the adventurers realize that Madam Mosni is the one responsible for cursing Willop in the first place! And with the curse set to end soon, the evil enchantress now has plans to help the whole royal family rest soundly — and forever!
Fast-paced and clever, the classic fairytale is turned inside-out and on its head as our heroes set out on a high-speed, comedic adventure to finally find some shuteye.
