The wild antics of Tom, Huck, Becky Thatcher, Aunt Polly and the rest of the gang are together again! Caruso has faithfully captured Mark Twain’s humor, fast action and clever story line in this dramatization of another of his brilliant tales. The ever-adventurous Tom has just bought a mail-order detective kit and is raring to catch a crook. When Aunt Polly sends Tom and his pal Huck on a river steamer to Arkansas to visit Aunt Sally, they meet an old acquaintance. He’s being chased by two thugs bent on killing him! When Tom and Huck find out, they turn to their detective kit to help catch the pair of goons. With Tom’s cleverness and Huck’s craftiness, all turns out well in the end... after the audience has been treated to thrills, laughs and a roller-coaster of breakneck action. This play is easy to mount on any stage. Although there are several scene changes, the sets are simple, each involving only a few props. Both your cast and your audience will be thrilled to see their favorite literary characters come to life in a ”new” classic story!
