The students at Bradbury High School become subject to constant video broadcast when Principal Orwell signs with a show called Spy TV, and cameras are installed in every corner of the school. To keep ratings up, the show feeds on controversy and drama, switching cameras unpredictably to feature students caught in embarrassing or contentious situations.
Whether they like it or not, the students become stars of their own reality show, their every move broadcast to the world! Some of the popular students, like the backstabbing gossip queen and the school quarterback, actually enjoy their expanded fame. All the other students hate it!
The two groups fight about having the cameras removed, and ironically, the heated disagreement just boosts the show’s ratings even higher! However, when the quarterback has a game of fumbles and the gossip girl has a bad hair day, they join the dissenters and come up with a hysterical plan to make the cameras go away. They determine to all get along and be cooperative — so boring that it will tank the show’s ratings!
