Letters from a respected New Jersey bank lure seven doomed ’guests’ to the eerie and fog-bound Skull Island on Cape Cod. Each hopes for a financial windfall. What each gets is — murder! Prime suspect is the crazed Bartholomew Frost, but his sister, who makes strange wooden puppets, might also have her finger on the hangman’s noose (all the victims are strangled).
