It also has pirates, an ancient buried treasure and loads of physical humor, and hysterical sight gags! Franklin Dewgood is the good mayor of a town famous for its legendary missing treasure... The Lost Treasure of Blackbeard! But currently, he’s more concerned about his need for a new housemaid since his daughter, Darling Dewgood, is busy organizing events for noble causes. Luckily, Charity Teach arrives, favorite feather duster in hand, hoping for work. When Charity meets the mayor’s son, Sheriff Ernest Dewgood, it’s love at first sight, but, alas! She fears they can never be together because of her deep dark secret. Ne’er-do-well town councilman Simon Snarewell sets his eyes on Charity and determines that the town now has two treasures he wants to claim. And he comes close with the help of the foxy Femoria Fatale, pirate professor Percival Woolsey, and an incoming tide as poor Charity is tied to the wharf!
