Everyone knows they have a friend at Chase Manhattan Bank. But until The Plot to Assassinate the Chase Manhattan Bank was written, no one could realize to what extent this friendship can be carried. A poor befuddled little man enters the bank with a time bomb, determined to hold up the bank. But how can you hold up the Chase Manhattan when everyone is a friend — and they are all trying to give you the money! That’s our bank robber’s problem — as the play unfolds and that bomb just keeps ticking away. From the opening curtain to the final explosion, the laughs come fast and furiously in this comedy.
