When Al Barbella gives up his career as a sailor, he becomes a teacher at Happy Valley High. He also coaches the football team, which traditionally loses to their ’arch rivals’ from Hillside High. When a transfer student joins the team, the football fortunes at Happy Valley immediately improve, leading to the exciting game in which the two rivals meet and the gala Homecoming Dance that follows. This show is set in the high school gym and at Sanderson’s Soda Shop where everybody goes for sodas and hamburgers, music and fun. Turn back the clock and turn up the volume, because Happy Valley High is a musical treat you won’t want to miss!
