This fun and fast-paced romp through the malicious schemes of Horace Horsefat, criminal mastermind, and his two not-too-bright assistants will keep your audiences on the edge of their seats roaring with laughter. Horsefat and his mischievous motley crew attempt to play out an evil scam to steal away Mary’s House of Widows, which stands on a valuable strip of land wanted by the wealthy railroad company for the construction of a new railroad station. It is a masterful plan, and only Pastor Pat Pasternack-crime fighter of the cloth-stands in his way. Will Horace succeed, or will his fumbling helpers, Daft Alvin and Spiney, derail the plan? As the mystery grows, the widowed sisters, May, June and April, are drawn into the perplexing and preposterous plot. It all comes down to a daring rescue at the sawmill, which is just the beginning of the unexpected culmination of events in this wily western melodrama! Easy to stage and using a narrator to keep up the suspense, you’ll love this simple-to-produce caper in which good triumphs over evil.
