This unique, contemporary musical offers an upbeat production in a modern, vaudeville format. Ezekiel stars as a rebellious prophet annoyed by his flock’s avoidance of God’s message. Rap and ragtime share the stage with a Las Vegas show routine, the psychiatrist’s tango, a vaudeville soft shoe and a country western ballad. The variety of numbers invites creativity in designing the choreography to be as simple or as innovative as you wish. Ezekiel finally succeeds in releasing the Israelites from their symbolic chains. Supported by his wife, Ezekiel reaffirms his own faith as your audience is challenged to create a better world.
