Mattie has perfect hair, but Belma’s is so bad her dog threatens to bury her in the backyard if she doesn’t cover it up.  Other teens at Central High have tried a great new hair developer that allows them to form their hair quickly into any shape, form or color imaginable.  The fantastic product is a major hit with the students...  that is, until their hair starts falling out in gobs.  Talk about a bad hair day!  This bad hair epidemic just happens to coincide with a visit from four mysterious strangers on school campuses around the city — the hideous Hilda von Dandruff and her three cronies.  Their evil plan is working out perfectly!  After distributing free samples of a tingly, bubbly shampoo that causes hair loss after a few uses, the villains plan to make a fortune by selling bottles of a fake hair restorer to helpless victims at an exorbitant price.  Embarrassed at their bare pates, the hair-loss sufferers scramble for a solution while two dim-witted detectives, Clanahanahan and Hulahan, enlist the aid of Mattie and Belma to capture and prosecute the conspirators.  With outrageous hair-dos, bald heads right and left and wacky characters like Stinky, Tylonda, Franz, Fritz and Shultz, this story is riotous fun!  Script instructions describe simple and inexpensive methods for presenting big hair, colorful hair and bald scalps.
