Charm, comedy and enchantment are rolled into one to create children’s theatre at its best! Start with an empty stage, then add in jungle sounds, a few props, and simple snippets of animal costumes. Our storyteller from India sparks the audience’s imagination to see the jungle and its creatures as he weaves the magical tale and the actors interpret the roles of cobras, monkeys, wolves, a crocodile, a camel, an elephant and the wily mongoose, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. A British family in old India is in jeopardy from marauding cobras in league with Shere Khan, the arrogant tiger. Only Rikki can save them, and he does so in a surprising way. The opportunities for visual comedy and improvisation are endless in this gem of a play.

Get It Now! Immediate Downloads
Get It Now! allows you to immediately download PDFs of the script, director’s book, and music scores for our shows. Production/rehearsal CDs sets are also available for immediate download. You will not receive physical versions of anything you select for Get It Now! delivery. This option requires the purchase of a sufficient number of scripts (distribution rights) for your entire cast and pre-payment of your entire order, including royalties.

As with all production orders, you must order a minimum of one script per cast member.
