Meet a squad of loony detectives who handle everything from burglary to bunco. Commander Rainwater plans to run for mayor so he leans on Lieutenant Mootfowl to clean up crime in City Park where ’only a moving bullet is safe.’ If Mootfowl doesn’t succeed he’ll have to turn in his badge. You’ll meet assorted police personnel, street people, con artists, a psychiatrist, crime victims, crooks, lawyers and a woman with a guilt complex who’ll confess to any crime. Don’t forget the Mad Bomber who plants a bomb in a file cabinet or the hat check girl from the Pink Poodle Disco who has matrimony on her mind. Before the final curtain things sort themselves out in hilarious style.

Get It Now! allows you to immediately download PDFs of the script, director’s book, and music scores for our shows. Production/rehearsal CDs sets are also available for immediate download. You will not receive physical versions of anything you select for Get It Now! delivery. This option requires the purchase of a sufficient number of scripts (distribution rights) for your entire cast and pre-payment of your entire order, including royalties.
