Ever dream of winning it big? For Sunny, a foster child at the Bloomfield’s house, her dreams usually don’t involve $2.8 million! But when she finds a winning lottery ticket on the floor of the local Quick Mart, her world is quickly turned upside down, spinning the entire Bloomfield house into hysterical chaos. At their best, oddball patriarch Oliver is a crazy inventor whose inventions refuse to cooperate, his librarian wife, Carrie, is rather scatterbrained, and Grandma can’t find her teeth. Things heat up when a grim state employee arrives to try to take Sunny and her sister away from the Bloomfields. To make matters worse, Louella Pierpont barges into the house with her spoiled son Leonard, claiming the lottery ticket Sunny picked up is actually theirs. And the security camera proves it! It takes some fancy footwork to clear up the confusion and with millions on the line, the stakes are sky high. With loads of over-the-top characters and a sweet, surprise ending, this play is certainly One in a Million.

Get It Now! allows you to immediately download PDFs of the script, director’s book, and music scores for our shows. Production/rehearsal CDs sets are also available for immediate download. You will not receive physical versions of anything you select for Get It Now! delivery. This option requires the purchase of a sufficient number of scripts (distribution rights) for your entire cast and pre-payment of your entire order, including royalties.
