If you want an honest-to-goodness ghost story sure to make your audience jump out of their seats and tingle with goose bumps, then look no further!  Hoping to boost her show’s ratings, morning show host Maxine Jackson enlists the aid of a paranormal expert, a medium, a policeman and a lawyer to spend the night in Barnowl Mansion, legendary for being haunted.  The medium, Willow DeWisp, claims to see dead people, while Private Eye Broderick plans to weed out anything — or anyone — phony.  Also joining them is the heir to the estate, Luella Dudley, whose condescending attitude rankles Maxine.  Together with her tech crew, Maxine decides to scare the pompous old lady to death.  She does...  literally.  “She CAN’T be dead!”  yells Maxine.  “Why does everything always happen to me?”  This deadly prank gone wrong turns frighteningly mysterious when the corpse disappears just moments after a doctor pronounces her dead.  The eeriness of the night mounts as ghosts start appearing:  two soldiers keeping a lonely watch, a Woman in White searching for her lost love and people from our ghost hunters’ pasts.  If that isn’t enough to give you goose bumps, the scarecrow that comes to life sure will.  Clever dialogue, mysterious stage action and a surprise, chilling ending are all part of the spooky fun of this ghost story that’s great for Halloween or any time of year!
