Bobo, a kind but misguided simpleton (or so he thinks), is on his quest for a lost half hour. In The Once Of Time, our hero travels to the edge of the planet and the deep of space on a seemingly ridiculous journey. He offers to find other impossible "lost" items, as well, such as a temper, a reputation and a princess. Traveling as far as Mother Time’s Clime, he overcomes "insurmountable" obstacles to find everything...including himself. Bobo’s good will, perseverance and self-belief win both heart and imagination. This unusual story is told in a highly creative fashion. It is easily adaptable to a wide range of budgets and facilities and challenges the imagination of the audience as well as that of the director, costumer and company. A minimum of 12 actors play more than 50 roles and are an integral part of the settings. With bright music, this critically acclaimed children’s musical is an ideal vehicle for colleges, high schools, and amateur or professional theatre companies looking for an artistic challenge and a quality message.
