This present-day Christmas story will warm your heart, entertain your spirit with its sweet humor, and remind you of the true meaning of the holiday.  It’s Christmas Eve — the busiest shopping day at Carrington’s Department Store.  Holly, Carrington’s newest clerk, is late to work and struggling to find her niche among the snooty personnel.  She and several other customers are greeted by a kindly bell ringer outside the store who seems to have an uncanny ability to make their deepest Christmas wishes come true.  Among the customers is a young family that arrives for some last-minute shopping and learns a valuable lesson about connecting with their son.  There’s also a hilarious trio of sisters that manages to snag the last remote control truck in the store for their nephew and leave less burdened than when they arrived.  A cynical, wealthy man learns about true love from a poor, destitute girl who sacrifices her own well-being for her family.  Meanwhile, three inept criminals are making plans to rob the store at closing time.  In their hysterical and bungled attempt to crack the safe, the robbers take Holly and a customer, Barry, as hostages.  A surprising last minute wish saves the hostages and brings the criminals to justice.  Thanks to the mysterious bell ringer, many hearts and lives have been changed — just in time to celebrate a true and meaningful Christmas.
