Unable to decide what to do, the ladies try to hide the body. Non-stop hilarity begins as they try to keep the corpse out of sight from their unexpected guests. The victim was scheduled to be the Grand Marshal of the Founder’s Day parade, so all sorts of crazy characters come searching for him – the mayor, the snoopy newspaper reporter and his girlfriend, Mimi Monroe. Was Burdett murdered for his grandfather’s secret diary? After all, Mimi reveals that the journal exposes the shady dealings of everyone in town!
This fast-paced farce is packed with suspense and laughter. With comedic characters, amusing scenes, and lots of stage action, this delicious murder mystery can be presented as a straight play or adapted for dinner theatre... as long as you don’t serve pasta salad!
