It’s a dark and stormy night when Sondra, suffering from writer’s block, seeks inspiration at the home of Horatio von Ominous, the world famous writer of widely-known warning labels. At Wolvesmede, it’s not hard to read the writing on the wall — after all, the sentences are succinct and the message is always “safety first.”
But it’s upon meeting descendants of Horatio that the motivation behind the late author’s work finally becomes clear: his family is so accident prone that they need all the warnings to keep themselves from getting killed. Is it a curse... or just bad genes?
Loaded with physical humor, oddball characters, and questionable motives, we can only wonder what happened to the maid and why a Schwan’s ice cream man was making rounds on a miserable night. Nothing is what you think in this quick-witted one act sure to cause uncontrollable fits of laughter. Just keep in mind, you’ve been warned.
