Mother Goose characters are brought to life in these ten parody monologues.  Each fairy tale person is seen in a new light as their hopes, fears and fables are revealed in outrageously funny ways.  Ten comedy character spoofs include:  Jack Sprat’s Big Splurge; Little Miss Muffet’s Break; Nimble Jack’s Gig; Little Bo Peep’s Lost Sheep; Contrary Mary’s Garden; Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater; Little Boy Blue Blew; Simple Simon’s Big Day; Humpty Dumpty Remembered and The Fate of London Bridge. Minimum costumes and/or props are needed for each characterization.  Each monologue is preceded by the original Mother Goose rhyme for reference.
