FAQs:  Musical Perusal Program

The Musical Perusal Program is the perfect way for you to preview musicals for up to 30 days to help you select which one you want to produce!  Each perusal order includes either a script and piano score or a script and CD sampler for up to three different musicals.  Or, you may purchase CD Samplers in addition to the perusal scripts and piano scores for a nominal additional fee.

Due to the prohibitive cost of shipping internationally, we are only able to offer our Musical Perusal Program to customers in the United States.  We encourage international customers to utilize our E-View program to preview musical scripts, which automatically come with the respective sampler music track at no extra cost.

Our CD Samplers (labeled A-X) feature plot outlines and song excerpts from almost all of our popular musicals and are extremely useful in selecting your next production.  For each show, you’ll hear just enough narrative to follow the plot and approximately one minute of every single song, taken straight from our studio-produced rehearsal CDs.  With approximately eight shows on each CD Sampler, these can help you choose musicals for years to come and are a bargain at only $4.00 each.

CD Samplers may be rented in lieu of piano scores if you wish.  In this case you will only be billed for them if you choose to keep them.  Or, they may be purchased in addition to the script and piano score on a perusal order (or on any other kind of order, for that matter).  In this instance, the CD Samplers are yours to keep even when you return your unwanted perusal material.

A perusal fee of just $20 covers a 30 day rental period, plus all your postage and handling.  It even provides for your return postage within the continental United States of any unwanted material!

Once you’ve decided which show to produce, place your production order for that musical within 90 days of your perusal order, and we’ll credit your $20 perusal fee toward your new order!  Then, use the prepaid label to return any material you don’t want.  We’ll bill you the regular price for any scripts, scores or CD samplers you choose to keep.

Our Musical Perusal Program is truly a “No Lose” program.  If you do produce one of the shows you peruse, you end up only paying for material you keep.  You don’t even pay for the return shipping!  If you choose not to produce any of the shows you peruse, you only pay $20 to look at up to over $100 worth of material.

Within 30 days of receiving your order, use the prepaid FedEx return label (provided for all perusals within the continental United States) to send back any unwanted material.  If we have not received back your material after 30 days, we will send you a reminder notice.  Perusal material kept more than 60 days will automatically be billed as a purchase at the regular price and can no longer be returned.  If you return a portion of your perusal order within 60 days, we will only bill you for the material you keep.  YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR ANY MATERIAL NOT RETURNED IN RESALABLE CONDITION.
