Legend of Sleepy Hollow and The Secret Garden

We are making it even easier to share your monologues with us for Monologue Mania!  As always, you can practice your acting skills, record your monologue, and upload your video to Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with our hashtags #pioneerdrama and #monologuemania.  But even if you want to skip social media, we still want to see your performance!  Email your recording to monologues@pioneerdrama.com.  We know you love theatre...  and an audience, so we’re here for you!  We’d love to watch you perform!

We are also starting a YouTube channel just for monologues!  If you would like us to share your video on our Monologue Mania YouTube channel, make sure you tell us when you send your video to monologues@pioneerdrama.com.  Try propping up your camera or phone on a stack of books, a shelf, or have a family member help you record your monologue.  If you have a computer with a webcam, that is an option as well.  Get creative and, most importantly, have fun!  We can’t wait to see and share your videos!  Break some virtual legs!

Here are the UPDATED guidelines:

• Perform the memorized Pioneer monologue either with or without costumes and/or props.
• Email your video to monologues@pioneerdrama.com or choose your favorite social media platform (Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook) to post your video using the hashtags #pioneerdrama and #monologuemania so we’re sure to see it. 
• Uploading the video and tagging it with #pioneerdrama gives Pioneer Drama Service explicit permission to share the entire video on our own social media platforms. 
• The video must start with the following:
• The performer’s first name
• The full name of the play
• The full name of the playwright(s)
• “Published by Pioneer Drama Service”
• A short introduction to set the scene.  For many plays, this can be done in just one or two lines.
• Do NOT include your full name or any school name or location since we want to protect everyone’s privacy.
