FAQs:  Promoting Your Production

Your program, as well as all promotional material for your production (except for t-shirts and buttons) must include the following information:

1. The full name of the play or musical
2. The full name of the playwright(s) (and composer and lyricist, when applicable)
3. The following statement:  “Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado”

This information should also appear on any video you post online, such as on YouTube.

We encourage you to use YouTube and other social media tools to promote your production.  Consider creating rehearsal photos or a video blog about your rehearsal process on your school’s newsletter or Facebook page to generate excitement about your upcoming production.  The key is to get your entire cast involved, be creative, and have fun!

You’re also welcome to post the entire show on Facebook or YouTube simply by paying an additional royalty fee for each website on which you post it.
