Author Profile:  David Ward

David ward is a children's author and assistant professor living in Portland Oregon.  David has written several novels and picture books including the Grassland Trilogy (Amulet Books New York, Scholastic Canada), Archipelago(Red Deer Press), and The Hockey Tree (Scholastic Canada).  As a classroom teacher for 11 years David wrote and produced plays for elementary and middle schools in Canada.  He currently teaches, researches and writes at Willamette University in Oregon.  For more information, visit his website.
