Author Profile:  Louise Thistle

Louise Thistle teaches students of all ages, from pre-school to grade 12, how to dramatize literature.  She also gives staff development training.  She is an actor, director and the author of six books and two award-winning plays.  She has taught teachers at colleges and universities and is currently a consultant for San Diego city schools and a literature-writing instructor for San Diego community colleges.  Ms. Thistle has a B.A. in literature and education from Tufts University and an M.A. in drama for young people from San Diego State University.
