Author Profile:  Adam Seacord

Adam Seacord teaches English Language Arts, co-directs the Thespian troupe, and runs the Theatre Crew Club at Dr. John Long Middle School in Wesley Chapel, FL.  He graduated with a B.A. in Performance Theatre and a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of South Florida, where he studied acting, directing, and playwriting. 

With his writing partner and wife, Stephanie Seacord, Adam writes plays that meet the unique casting needs of their school.  Each year, Dr. John Long Middle School premiers a new play written by Stephanie and Adam Seacord.  They take pride in facilitating a student-driven production supported by an all-student crew. 

Stephanie and Adam also won the 2025 Pioneer Drama’s A+ Playwriting Contest for Teachers with their first play written together, Little Women — Then and Now.
