Author Profile:  Lawrence Phillis

Lawrence E.  Phillis, writer, performer, and songwriter, has a bachelor's degree in communication and English, graduating cum laude from Slippery Rock University.  Larry worked as an editor/writer/designer for the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce and Adult Literacy Action and has won awards for his layouts.  In 1993, Larry was working with John Dressler's brother, who recruited him to help out with a production.  John and Larry have been working together on projects ever since, including co-authoring Sketch-O-Frenia.  Larry became Vice President of The Outlet for Creativity, Inc.  in 1999.  He has attended and performed with Second City in Cleveland, OH, and instructs young adults in writing and performing workshops.
