Author Profile:  Elizabeth Ely Moreno

Elizabeth Ely Moreno is a freelance journalist, playwright, performer and director with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, magna cum laude, from Cornish College of the Arts.  She worked for several years as an actor and puppeteer before moving to Mexico City where she ran the drama department of Colegio Eton’s bilingual elementary school.  Stepping off the stage to raise her children, she spent her free time writing and directing children’s theater.  Cinderella or the Story of Bigfoot, originally performed when she was a drama teacher at The Northwest School in Seattle, WA, is the first of her plays to be published by Pioneer Drama Service.  She currently resides with her husband in Beaverton, Oregon.
