He has directed for San Diego Civic Light Opera with productions of Fiddler On The Roof, Once Upon A Mattress, The Desert Song, Paint Your Wagon, The Sound Of Music and Mame. For Lawrence Welk Resort Theater he directed High Button Shoes, Camelot, Hello, Dolly! and Crazy for you.
As a performer, Ole has had leading roles in Where's Charley?, The Pajama Game, The Most Happy Fella, She Loves Me, I Do, I Do, How To Succeed..., A Funny Thing Happened..., Show Boat, Dames At Sea, Annie Get Your Gun and Big River, among others. He choreographed The Fantasticks for the San Diego Old Globe Theater and resides in that city where he is artistic director for the successful San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts.
Ole met Arne Christiansen when Ole played "Harold Hill" and Arne conducted a production of The Music Man. Together they have collaborated on productions of Oklahoma!, The King and I, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, No, No, Nanette, 42nd Street and Into The Woods. Their first musical written together was Little Miss Christie with Tim Kelly and published by Pioneer. They have more than a dozen published works with Pioneer including Best Beware My Sting, Robin Hood, We Like It Here, Tied To The Tracks, Tumbleweeds, Teens In Tinseltown, Live A Little and Squad Room.
