C. Lynn Johnson (Cori) is a playwright, journaler, and author of tales living in Gilbert, AZ. She started in theatre the way many do, as a young actor on stage — performing many Pioneer titles for school and community theater — before moving backstage as a stage manager and designer. She wrote her first full-length play in high school (lost in the Great Computer Crash of 2002), which led her mentor to ask her to write a show for her home theater, East Valley Children's Theatre. At the ripe old age of 20, she wrote The Floating Princess. Since then, Cori has more than ten full-length productions and three puppet scripts produced throughout the Phoenix metro area and has won multiple awards, including the ariZoni Theatre Award of Excellence for Marion and the Merry Men. Cori loves telling stories and creating spins on the tales we've all grown up enjoying with strong and interesting characters.
