Author Profile: Clara Harris
Clara Harris is an actor (AEA, SAG-AFTRA) who can be seen in The Old Man and the Gun alongside Casey Affleck, starring Robert Redford; the Netflix production, Point Blank, with Marcia Gay Harden, Frank Grillo, and Anthony Mackie, and Dark Waters, with Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins. She co-stars in Damaged Goods, directed by Nancy Stafford, whom she met while working on the film Nazareth, alongside Doug Jones and Anson Williams.
While Clara works frequently in film, it is the stage where she first fell in love with storytelling. Favorite stage roles include Come Sing, Jimmy Jo (Olive/Kerri Sue, original cast), Wiley and the Hairy Man (original musical cast), and Antigone (Tiresias/Eurydice). Appearing onstage as Grace Bradley in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever alongside her son in his theatrical debut was a delightful and fulfilling experience. She is currently preparing an upcoming cabaret show and recording an audiobook of a medical text. Other audiobooks Clara has narrated can be found on Amazon and Audible.
In addition to her screen and stage appearances, Clara teaches acting, as well as yoga, and is also a writer of stage and audio plays. Born full of wanderlust, Clara does not sit still for long. She insists food tastes better around a campfire and is happiest on a roadtrip through the backroads, slowly meandering on her bicycle past breathtaking vistas or watching the land unfurl from the window of a train.
