Wes Cannon graduated in 2000 from Greenville College with a B.A. in English and a double-minor in Theatre and Religion/Philosophy. He has since continued a “liberal arts” lifestyle by teaching English in Burundi, Africa; house painting and picture framing in St. Louis; and working food service in West Palm Beach. In 2011, Wes moved to Virginia to be a bed and breakfast innkeeper, where he first hired and then married his housekeeper.
Wes has worked with various theatres in St. Louis, including St. Louis Shakespeare, MustardSeed, StrayDog, Act Inc., Kirkwood, and West End Players Guild, where he won the Outstanding Lead Actor Award in 2004 for his portrayal of Buddy in The Diviners. Currently, Wes lives in Virginia and is the housekeeper for his wife and their 3 cats. He likes to travel, scuba dive, and play Ultimate Frisbee.
