Alice M. Batzel is a published Playwright, Journalist, Freelance Writer, and is currently working in the area of novel writing, stage and screenwriting, short stories, reviews, and poetry.
Her earlier writing/publishing pursuits have primarily been creative, human interest, as well as research/technical report writing within her former working career of 32 years as a professional credentialed Health Information Management Specialist.
Originally from Kentucky, Alice is a true "Southerner at heart" and claims the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast as the place where her roots are planted; having spent much of her youth growing up there, it remains the home of many of her relatives and closest friends. Her life's travels have taken her far from her southern home, her southern accent has long been lost, but she says that she will remain a Southern Lady in her heart forever.
Alice is married, has two adult sons, enjoys being a Grandmother, and currently resides with her husband in the beautiful Wasatch mountains of Utah.
