Author Profile: Jill Williams
As a lover of musical theatre, Jill Williams' dream was to write a Broadway musical. Her fantasy became a reality in the mid-70's when Rainbow Jones debuted at The Music Box Theatre in New York City. She has since authored four books on a variety of subjects (i.e., grieving, pet photography, Hollywood stars' health & beauty secrets, note-writing) and is currently trends commentator for CBC-Radio.
"Musicals are my first passion," admits Jill, who says she's thrilled that Rainbow keeps finding new places to be performed. Having relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia nearly ten years ago, Jill was invited to attend a recent production of Rainbow in Vanderhoof, B.C. "I'm happy to report that the show's charm is still intact!"
At present, Jill is hard at work on a collection of short stories which she hopes to eventually turn into yet another musical. For more information, visit her website.
