J.  Robert (Bob) Wilkins was a teacher for 37 years and is a self taught producer, director, and playwright.  During the last 24 years of his career he worked in a small rural junior/senior high school where he discovered his passion for theatre.  He produced and directed 21 annual variety shows, 14 dinner theatre plays, 3 children’s theatre plays, and 5 Remembrance Day plays.  Bob began writing plays in 1997 because it was difficult to find plays for small cast high school productions.  Several of his works have been published.  In retirement, Bob continues to write and is now trying his hand at adult plays.
