Author Profile:  Aven Stephenson

Aven Stephenson completed degrees in Speech and Communications, Piano Performance, and an M.F.A.  in Acting.  His professional performance and educational careers have allowed him to work in many areas, including stage direction, music direction and arts education.  Aven’s acting credits range in roles from Shakespeare and Musical Theatre to Television Movies, Cruise Lines and Children’s Theatre.  His musical styles are eclectic as well — Commedia Pinocchio is one of his several musical adaptations of popular children’s stories for the stage.  Aven has received grants to compose original works for the theatre, as well as popular songs in the R&B and jazz traditions.
