Author Profile:  Grey Pratt

Grey Pratt is a non-binary, queer playwright who grew up mostly in rural Montana, where luckily there was an amazing community theatre program, Montana Actors Theatre (MAT).  Although the seeds of love for theatre were planted by Missoula Children’s Theatre, the spark that set it all off was at age 11 when MAT cast them as Jojo in Seussical the Musical.  From there, Grey has been in countless productions.  They have 16+ years of experience in all aspects of theatre, from acting to directing, writing, set design and construction, lighting and audio operation/design, and so much more.  After years of working with MAT, they moved out to Colorado and joined the amazing team at Pioneer Drama Service, which inspired them to further pursue playwriting.  Grey’s love for theatre flourishes in their position with Pioneer Drama, and they are so excited to step into this new adventure of being a published playwright.  They love to connect with others and are always happy to talk to those interested in their work.
