She has been writing stories, poems, and plays for as long as she can remember, but her first produced play came at the age of 13 when she adapted the Max Lucado book, A Christmas Child, into a play for her church’s youth Christmas program. She has written many skits, human videos, and plays for churches, drama teams, and schools, and continues to write for her own students. Most of the inspiration for her plays comes from her students, whom she calls her “kids.” Chelsea currently lives in Columbus, MS with her cat Chloe.
