Author Profile: Daniel O'Donnell
DANIEL O’DONNELL has been married thirty seven years to his wife Linda and is the father of sons Kerry and Sean, and daughter Casey. He is a Viet-Nam veteran and for the past fifteen years a playwright and drama director at the Freeport Jr. High in Freeport PA. During those years, Daniel has written and directed some thirty plays at the school and local theatres. He assisted his son, Sean, in building the Olde Bank Theatre from the ground up where Daniel wrote, directed and on occasion reluctantly acted.
In 2004, after years of refining the necessary playwriting skills, Daniel thought it time to send out submissions. The years of school theatre productions paid dividends for Daniel who now has three plays in publication – the 2005 Shubert Fendrich Memorial Playwriting Contest Award winner Murder By Indecision, published by Pioneer Drama Service, and Days Of Our Nights and Surviving Reality.
