Author Profile: Tim Koenig
Tim Koenig has been involved in theater since Junior High School. His first role was Charlie Brown in A Charlie Brown Christmas. He went on to act throughout high school in productions such as: Little Mary Sunshine, Oliver!, The Glass Menagerie, M.A.S.H. and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, where, once again, he played the title role. (He insists he was not being type-cast.)
After high school, Tim hit the big time when he began his tenure at the Pollardville Palace Showboat Dinner Theatre in Stockton, California. It was there he learned the art of melodrama, musical productions, dance, and ad lib. (Some skills better than others.)
After the closure of The Palace, Tim went on to perform in two other local dinner theatres: Smiler’s Comedy Playhouse, where he learned farce, and Kiley’s Dinner Theatre. (Both of which have since gone out of business through no fault of Tim’s — really.)
It was at this point that Tim started writing sketches for the services at his church and discovered his love for writing.
