Hynes is co-owner and lead room designer for Room 4 Escape, which hosts multiple themed escape rooms for family entertainment in Somers Point, N.J. Hynes graduated in 2006 from Egg Harbor Township High School, where she founded the HynesSight Players to perform Shakespearean comedies adapted for children and earned the Principal’s Award for Theatre. Hynes has bachelor of arts degrees in psychology and theatre studies from Montclair State University in New Jersey. There, her short plays were produced at the annual Players’ One Act Festival, and Hynes was also part of ensemble theatre project “past/TENSE,” directed by the acclaimed Robert Woodruff. Hynes holds a master of fine arts degree from Northwestern University in screenwriting and playwriting. Hynes has written plays produced at the Next Theatre in Evanston, Ill., the Harford Dance Theatre at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Md., and, most recently, at the Luna Stage’s New Moon Short Play Festival (The Locked Moon Mysteries).
