Author Profile: Maurice Hill
Maurice Hill enjoyed a widely diversified career extending into television, movies, recording and theatre. Besides being the author of two scripts with Pioneer Drama Service, "Miss Twiddle and the Devil"and "Miss Twiddle Meets an Angel,” he also had two scripts published by Dramatists Play Service. His 25 years of experience in the theatre reaped him numerous acting roles in television, stage and screen both in New York and Hollywood. Mr. Hill was the last surviving cast member of the 1950s sci-fi TV series “Space Patrol," a series he also wrote episodes of. Mr. Hill’s many acting credits include “I Love Lucy,” “Dragnet,” “Get Smart,” the TV movies “Glass Houses” and “The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case” and the two “Airplane” feature films. Offstage and away from the camera, he recorded dramatic textbooks for Recording for the Blind, Inc. Mr. Hill passed away in 2007.
