Martin A. Follose received his BS in Music Education from Oregon College of Education and his MS from Western Oregon State College. He has been a performing arts teacher at a small school in Southern Oregon for 25 years, teaching band at the elementary, junior high and high school level and serving as the high school drama advisor. He is also the director and founder of JUST US, a high school musical troupe that entertains elementary students with music, acting and general craziness throughout Oregon, California and Hawaii.
Martin had never stepped onto the stage until after his third year of teaching when his principal forced him to be drama advisor for the following school year. That summer, Martin joined the cast of his college’s musical and has been hooked ever since. Soon after, he began writing plays and musicals for his students — ten of which are published with Pioneer Drama Service.
The author would love to see any productions of his plays being done in the Southern Oregon region. He can be reached at the link above. In his free time, Martin loves to travel and ski. He is also an avid jogger and enjoys hosting exchange students.
