Author Profile:  Karen Davenport

Karen Davenport was an educator of young minds for 17 years.  Karen says she was never sure who was teaching whom as she learned as much from her students as they did from her.  Her favorite subject, though not part of the curriculum, was imagination.  Karen strived to make sure her students knew their own imaginations were as limitless as they themselves were.  Following adventures in teaching (which she considers a wonderful calling), came adventures as a paralegal (turned out that wasn’t her thing), Girl Friday in an art gallery (where she learned a lot) and now writing for kids of all ages (which makes her heart happy).  Karen’s favorite continuing adventure though has to be that of wife to a man with a good soul and mother of two beautiful and kind daughters.
