Joanne Bogart (Lyricist) co-wrote and performed in the original off-Broadway hit production of The Musical of Musicals!  (the Musical), which was nominated for five Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Lyrics and Outstanding Musical.  It was also nominated for the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical and the Drama League Award for Best Musical.  The show has been produced in many regional and international theatres, including two in London.  Joanne is thrilled it was chosen as the musical for a star-studded benefit for the York Theatre in Manhattan, where the show debuted.  Other musical productions written with Eric Rockwell include Golly Gee Whiz! and Up to You! (each winning the National Youth Theatre Award), David and Goliath, Peter Pan -A Musical Adventure, The Trials of Alice in Wonderland, and Rockin’ Robin Hood.  She has also provided lyrics for several episodes of shows on the Disney Channel.
